I read… a lot. Tons of books but even more blogs.
Over the last year I found some really awesome blogs and I want to take a few moments to share them with you (in no particular order).
Scott Ball
Scott is a great leadership resource. He has a passion for leadership and the church!
One of the top posts I read was 10 TIPS TO GET MORE RETURNING GUESTS
He also launched a new podcast at Church Leadership Matters.
Justin Trapp
Justin has great resources for growing pastors. A lot of his posts are geared towards preaching creatively. He has several free preaching calendar tools and sermon planning tools. We used these to help us plan our 2016 preaching calendar.
One of the best posts I read (watched) from Justin was 10 Growth Killers For Pastors and Churches (Video)
Jonathan Malm
I first came across Jonathan when I started a church website design business and we advertised on a few of his sites: Church Stage Design Ideas & Sunday Mag and about year later I met him at the Salt Conference.
But being Facebook friends lead me to his personal blog and I love the variety and humor he uses. He has also written a few books.
His book UnWelcome is one of our most watched leadership summaries.
Hands down my all time favorite post from this last was, 3 Reasons Your Political Stance Could Be Ruining Your Christian Witness
Velocity Ministry Management
Deborah writes some very thoughtful and unique posts.
Her vantage point as a professional project manager makes her posts more applicable than theoretical, and I love it!

Nils Smith
I came across Nils when he became a member of our streaming leadership video service. Then I saw he wrote a book and we did a video on that as well. Social Media Guide For Churches.
He posts about the mashup between tech and church (2 of my favorite things).
Here is one that I loved reading!!! The Future of Live Streaming
Josh Blankenship
Josh has a great mix of creative church stuff, stages, social media and leadership posts.

Tim Parsons
Tim is an executive pastor at a growing church in Indiana.
He writes a ton about leadership and I really like his writing style.
Tim also started up a pretty cool new resources for churches at Church Leader Strategies

Preaching Donkey
First off, I love the name!
This site is a huge resource for pastors that want to become better communicators.
By far the most impactful article/podcast was this one: How to Get More Helpful Feedback On Your Sermons.
ProPreacher
Here’s another great resource for becoming a better preacher.
I loved this article: 5 Tips For Managing Pastoral PMS (Pre Message Syndrome)
Ron Edmondson
Ron is one of the best church leadership bloggers out there. Period.
He also writes posts targeting pastors that need to be encouraged, which I love.
It was really hard to only pick one article to tell you guys about. So here’s three!
