The #1 Overlooked Source For Volunteers

So I’ve never meet a pastor that said they have too many volunteers. Not having enough people serving is one of the most common pain points I hear pastors talking about. Most of us default to making an announcements or putting it in the bulletin AND we completely overlook the number one source of new volunteers. Our current volunteers!

If our current volunteers loved what they did and we’re excited about serving, that love for ministry and excitement for serving would be contagious and they’ll be inviting all their friends to come and join the fun! So I asked Deborah Ike,  a church consultant and an expert at church strategy, systems and event planning to share with us 4 tips to make sure your volunteers love what they do!

PLUS here’s a free volunteer survey Deborah has put together!  http://vmm.tips/MLVolSurvey

Team Discussion Guide

So I’m sure you are anxious to get started and put this new approach for recruiting volunteers into action. So in this Team Discussion Guide we are going to give you some questions that will help you look at your current volunteer situation from a new angle, and identify some ways to improve your volunteer culture.
To begin, watch the video and print off this workshop. You may choose to take your leadership staff through this workshop or just use it for personal use. Maybe even take your team through the Team Discussion Questions and get their insight and feedback as well. Then begin working through the What’s Next section, answering all the questions and providing yourself with action steps and due dates.
