Creating Great Spaces For Guests

Physical first impressions are important for each and every one of our churches, but over the last few decades, how you approach creating environments in your building have changed as our culture has changed. And as church leaders, it’s important to not only keep up with the changing environments but also to challenge ourselves to think differently about the spaces and environments in our churches.

In this workshop, Brandon Cox walks us through five principles concerning the environments of our physical spaces as he goes through a building project and rethinks the spaces of his building and how they can help better reach the community.

Team Application Guide

Physical first impressions extend a lot further than your parking lot team, your signage, or your greeter. The very spaces in your building are silently communicating things to your guests that can either encourage them or discourage them from every giving your church another shot.

In this application guide, we will give you and your team some leading questions to help you examine the temperature and the vibe that your physical spaces might be giving off to new guests and help you think through some steps to make these spaces even more guest friendly.
