If you’ve got people in your church that want to serve but don’t know where to start, create a one-time need for people to get their feet wet. Maybe you have a huge mailing coming up and you need someone to stamp envelopes, or you need someone to put bulletin packets together for your Christmas services. No matter what the need, there will be people that want to fill it. There are people in your church that really do want to get involved but don’t know who to contact or even what they’d be good at. Getting them started with something as simple as stuffing envelopes will help them get a grasp on what they could potentially get involved in long-term.
