12 Nov Make Your Guests Feel Welcome
Have you ever stayed at the Ritz Carlton Hotel? I haven’t, but I’ve heard it’s nice. I mean really nice. The staff will go out of their way to help you, learn your name, and make you feel important. After all, you parted with those hard-earned dollars to spend a night or two with them. Now, do we treat the guests at our churches the same way? Do we make them feel that they are the best thing that’s happened to us all weekend? Or do we just kinda let them slip through the cracks, unnoticed? We’d be pretty upset if we were treated like that at the Ritz- how much more important is it to treat the guests at our churches with respect? The Ritz is merely providing you with a shower and a bed. Our churches are providing people with a means to eternity with Jesus! Let’s reevaluate how we’re treating our guests and make adjustments where they’re needed. Maybe it means handing out cups of coffee or having donuts available. There are a million little things that we can do to make our guests feel welcomed. Let’s just pick a few and treat our guests with the respect they deserve.
